The neighborhood
game, in your pocket

The marbles you grew up with, running on real physics: pull back like a slingshot, let go and the marble rolls as far as it can. Four classic modes, turn-based matches with your friends and a ranking that resets every month.

Version 1.0.1 · iOS 16.4 or later and Android · No ads

Game modes

Four classics from the dirt

The same games played on every street corner, with the rules everyone remembers. Each one changes how you aim, and all four work solo, on one phone or online.

Chita y cuarta

A two-marble duel. You win the round by hitting your rival's marble — that's a chita — or by landing within a cuarta, one hand-span measured on the dirt.

The mousetrap (la ratonera)

A shoebox with arches cut into it and the score chalked above each one. The narrow arches pay more, exactly like they did at recess.

Multiplayer

Turn by turn, whenever you can

Online play is turn-based, not real time: take your shot, close the app and we'll ping you when it's your turn again. Nobody has to be online at the same time.

  • Challenge anyone. Invite a friend with a six-letter code, ask for a rematch when the match ends, or use quick match and we'll find you an opponent.
  • 48 hours per turn. With a reminder when 12 are left. If your rival never shows up, the match closes on its own instead of hanging forever.
  • Every shot is validated on the server. Your shot is re-simulated with the same physics that runs on the phone, so nobody can make up a result.
  • Short chat, with report and block. Messages travel between the two phones and are not stored.
Online knockout match: the pot indicator shows 10 marbles at stake, 5 from each player, and the footer says it is Bruno's turn.
The pot is held until the match is over.

The marbles

In-game currency, nothing else

Online matches are played for a pot: both players put in the same amount, the server holds it while the match runs and the winner takes all of it. On a draw, everyone gets their marbles back.

  • They have no real-world value. They are game tokens: they cannot be redeemed for money, goods or services outside Bolitas.
  • No cash-out, no free transfers. Marbles are only won or lost by playing, between the accounts in that match.
  • There is always a free path. You start with a stock and get a daily refill. Marble packs are optional.
  • Skins are bought with in-game marbles. Milkies, cat's eyes, steelies, crystals: pure style, zero advantage on the court.

Bolitas is a game of skill: the outcome of every match depends on aim and player decisions, not on chance. Buying packs lets you play more often, never aim better.

Your crew

The ranking resets every month

The board counts marbles won in matches, not the ones sitting in your bag: buying packs won't move you up a single spot.

  • Global and all time. This month's race and the historical hall of fame, on the same screen.
  • My crew. Private leagues with a shareable code, their own board and a button to challenge any member.
  • Your own stats. Matches, wins and burns, mode by mode.

No rival around

Play solo, or all of you on one phone

You don't need a connection or awake friends to get a match in.

  • CPU rival with three difficulties. It doesn't cheat: it tests its shots with the same physics you use and, on easy, its hand simply shakes more.
  • Pass and play. 2 to 6 players on the same phone, no account and no connection.
  • Instant rematch. Straight from the end-of-match screen, with the same players.
